A bit of help please.
Hello,My father has just bought an Avon trades bike, and wants to restore it.It looks like a Pashleys Deli bike, but i cant find anything about it on Google,Can anyone point me at the history of the company, and its bikes please. The wheels are in a poor condition, and will probably need replacing, can anyone suggest a supplier ? the front has a tyre size of 20x 2.125,the rear has no size on the tyre, but the rim is 23 x 1 & 3/4 overall.(which seems odd)Thanks. Mick.

Bikes: Indeed!
Those delivery bikes had a smaller front wheel to accommodate the big basket or rack on the front.
Post a couple of pictures and you may get a better response.

Thanks for the reply mate.I did mention that the front wheel is 20inch,and the rear is 23 inch. However,i have now discovered that the 23inch rim diameter is irrelevent, and is classed as 26 inch by the diameter of the tyre. Here are some photo's anyway. Are transfers and badges available for this bike ?Any input would be appreciated.Thanks. Mick.

Bikes: Lots of English 3-speeds, a couple of old road bikes, 3 mountain bikes, 1 hybrid, and a couple of mash-ups
More info about decals would help, but since it has rod brakes, I would say British or a former British colony.

I found a new original 20in front wheel from a bankrupt bike dealer, for £25.A back 26in from another source for £39,a set of handlebars for £30,and a complete brake set for £35.The frame is now at the powder coaters, and a basket weaver is standing by.A couple of weeks and it should all be done.
