I have a 2 speed 'automatic' that still shifts good but not necessarily consistent... is there something I can do to keep it in good shape or at least shifting? I do some basic work in my bikes and have been messing with bikes for years but have stayed away from taking apart a hub...

Which Bendix 2-speed do you have? Red, Blue, or Yellow band? I have overhaul procedures for all if you PM me with your specific model.
