I recently picked up a bicycle while in France and was wondering if anyone could help me identify it. Its not a question of value really but I was just wondering what era it is from. It could also be a mixture of parts and its been repainted so could be hard to place.... It has fully chromed forks with the Mercier logo on them, CLB brakes, simplex derailleur, Mavic wheels, Guid handlebar, columbus aelle tubing (apparently, but was repainted so they would have had to put the sticker back on ?).
