I have a ?1929 Excelsior (2nd hand sale receipt with date 1931 for 1929 bike) with JAP engine no. IOY/S 54073/J. So far I have deduced from serial number that this is I=350cc; O=0hv; Y=twin port; S=1929 build; 54073=serial no.
J= Non-standard. Anyone got any other ideas/info?
