There's always red tape: Fizik Mircotex question
I've seen Fizik Microtex recommended here as a good quality, reasonably vintage-looking, and well-priced bar tape. I'm seeing two different reds available: 'bright red' (which actually looks like a deep wine red, and I think is what I want), and 'glossy red' which actually looks really bright, as well as being glossy. I know that color images on computer screens can be really deceptive, so I'm wondering if anyone has actually seen both of these in person.
I think the glossy might actually look more vintage, but I have a wine red piece of leather that I might use to recover the yellow turbo saddle, and I think the deeper, less shiny reds might harmonize better with the faded red paint of the Tommasini.

Thanks for the multiple photos; I'm going with the bright red. Love the tasteful red accents with the black paint!

The glossy is like patent leather - very glossy. And, at least with the black, the edges and underside are white, and the edges show. This means you get thin white stripes along your wrap. I don't recommend the glossy.

But the edges were very obvious on mine, so bad that even were I able to perform a decent wrap job they would have shown white. Perhaps I got a bad run.
