A "Faux" Centurion Pro Tour
I found this ad on Kijiji (Canadian CL). The "Pro Tour" decal is on the downtube. Seller indicates there is no other markings on the bike, except "10 Speed". Seller doesn't know much about bikes. Could this be a knock-off, fake, or faux copy of a Centurion Pro Tour? I'm going to look at it tomorrow. I don't have my hopes up.
Any insights?
Thanks!

I know there's a Ross Gran Tour, but can't find anything on a Ross Pro Tour. I'll take a close look at those forks. Thanks for pointing that out. They do look at little weird with that little swerve in the middle.

Unless its free, and you could donate some usable parts to a needy co-op, don't waste your time going to see this one. As said, the fork is bent, and possibly the down tube and top tube are also damaged. Its an entry level, 70s bike boom era, most likely. You can do much better, be patient and watch for a decent good project bike. I wish good luck on your search, we have all been through the process.

Fork bent and I don't think it's a purposeful attempt at a Centurion Pro Tour. My guess is a department-store or similar bike that got named that because it made it sound worth buying.

Is there anyway you can move that Quill Stem a little lower? Looks a little scary to me.

I agree, that fork is toast. As far as the bike brand goes, it's prolly just some long forgotten 70's boom bike as another poster mentioned. Junk even if the fork wasnt curly q'd..

No build thread yet. I just took it out yesterday to begin adjusting things to my liking. I'm still waiting on my handlebar wrap from Niagra. They are very slow at processing an order.

There was a wonderful thread about the blue Pro Tour 15 a few years ago- https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-vi...r-15-hawk.html
I have that one bookmarked- if just for the Pro Tour pix, but also for the mods on it, and the Accushift "bible" in there.

I also wouldn't mind checking out a build thread. Looks nice.
