Interest in 1st-gen Cyclone RD spulley cage springs?

I am looking into having some pulley cage springs manufactured for the 1st-gen Cyclone RD. It seems to be prone to breaking. (I've broken three.) The spring is interchangeable between the short-cage and GT versions but there aren't so many short-cage version left in the world, let alone the GT. The Suntour VT spring is the same length but with a smaller diameter so the shaft end won't fit easily. The VGT Luxe spring is the right diameter but shorter. McMaster-Carr does not sell anything close to workable that I have identified in their catalog. So I have contacted a spring manufacturer about a short run of a custom spring. I don't know what it will cost. If the cost is too high I'll just walk away. If it is reasonable, recognizing that "reasonable" is a soft term, then I'll go ahead with it. Cost may depend on quantity. I am not looking for profit, just want to find a source for these springs.

Any interest? Drop me a PM!

Thanks.

Maybe they would prototype a small qty. I fear the set up fee will be steep even when amatorized over 100 pcs.
Which would be a very small run.
