Looks like it. That modern one looks pretty nice, too. I downloaded the catalog, but it's still all in Japanese.
Very interesting. First impression: they've rounded up some frame builders and are taking orders. Lotta yen, I bet.
Based on their history, they'll be very well made, high level of fit and finish.

The ORCC 01 frameset is very cool looking. Tange Prestige I guess. It's on sale for 114,750 yen (@ $980). And no clue how to order it, that order sheet pdf is jacked up.

This was my understanding too...bikes are important to the family and they've always been commited to selling bikes. I'm pretty sure I saw some literature about ordering one a few years ago.

I like the fact that there is the opportunity to do a lot of customization....provided you are willing to pay the price.
I wonder how they will compare (ride wise) to the CV stuff, group set not withstanding?Nice looking bikes nonetheless

Touché. I don't do new bikes, and they all seem very expensive to me. I like the ORCC 31, priced at around $2,000. Compared to new carpet fiber bikes, that may actually be quite reasonable.

Looks great on the right bike.
I've seen the groupset on a De Rosa Corum and it worked.
I would suggest the "c&v" crowd won't have a big buy in for most of the new Shimano, Campy or SRAM offerings.
All of the companies should always keep a "classic" groupset in their line up. imho

I have often wondered why Campagnolo has not offered a limited edition retro group set. Like 80's SR. They must see the demand for it, and the prices NOS goes for. As long as they don't price it so us mere mortals can't afford it. To me their Chrome offerings leave something to be desired aesthetically

You could still order a pista frame all along, Panasonic has always had a bit of a presence making bikes for the keirin Circuit.
Around 1200$ through Yellow Jersey IIRC, - so not bad for a made to order steel frameset in this day
