Limiting DT Indexed levers?
Hi all,
So I have a mixed group of Shimano 600 I'm planning on running on a Zinn frame.
Levers:
VeloBase.com - Component: Shimano SL-6401, 600 Ultegra (8sp)
RD:
VeloBase.com - Component: Shimano RD-6401, 600 Ultegra
Hubs (6207 600EX, freewheel):
VeloBase.com - Component: Shimano FH-6207, 600EX (Freewheel hub)
The levers and RD are capable of running 8 (9?) gears, but the hubs are can only handle a 7 speed freewheel from what I understand. If I keep the levers in SIS mode, is there a way to limit the notches in the shifter? I wasn't sure if this questions has come up, sure it has, just didn't know how to word it.
Thanks!
