Building up new (old) tubular wheelset
Back in the mid 70s i had a tubular wheel set which i enjoyed, although i couldn't afford nice tires. Im about to build another set using parts I already have, and Im hoping what I have is adequate for my needs. The hubs will be Campy Record high flange, which I am rehabbing right now. One is laced to a Mavic GP4 tub rim, and the other is laced to a rim that the labels are almost all gone, though I see what looks like CORSA. Obviously these are mismatched (and different ly colored) rims, and I want matching rims. In the shed are some Mavic Argent 10 rims that seem nice and not at all trashed. I have never ridden them and am thinking of lacing them to the Campy hubs. Question; were the Argent rims considered good rims? Additional information is that I am 210 lbs on a good day. Any info on the Argent 10 rims is appreciated!

I have good experience with Mavic tubular rims. You should be good with ther Argent 10. i would encourage you to be sure the rims are not warped or flat spotted before building. Makes for a much easier build.

I don't have any experience with that rim, but at 325gm, they're probably at the low end of what you could use, and expect decent life out of. I.e. they'd be fine if you ride light, but maybe not if you're hard on rims. Your current GP4 is about 450gm, and should be pretty bulletproof at your weight. Another thought would be finding another silver Mavic rim for the rear. Maybe something in the 400+ gm range. Those Argent 10 rims should hold up fine as a front wheel.

You are right. 325g is almost stupid light for a beast like me, but I'm going to try them anyway. I'm usually pretty good on wheels, and these will be my "fun" set. Thanks for the replies!
