SR (Sakae Ringyo) crank specs
looking to upgrade from an double road chainset 40/50T 118 BCD stamped SR Apex to a single touring chainset (36T) 110 BCD stamped Sakae SA
cant find any info if these would share or atleast be likely to share similar BB axle lengths |
Do you have the cranks in hand? If so then you have the ability to answer your own question. Watch for both spindle length as well as taper fit. Some early 1970s Asian alloy cranks had different taper angles.
BTW it's hard for this old tourist to use the terms "touring" and "single chainset" in the same breath. Must be your terrain is flatter then mine is. Andy |
