I have no plans! frankly I run a co-op so if a tall student comes in the door i might give it to them. I can only ride so many bikes and i have 2 ironman, 1 semi-pro, and a super lemans (and that is just the centurions) . sure ill give away the super lemans before the elite- but I am at the point that a few hundred here or there matters less than getting some young person into riding. I just enjoy receiving and working on bikes, giving them a few miles, and then sending them out to be steed for someone else.
the truth is, I credit a bicycle for my success in SF. I came to the town with no job, just savings from my prior work to hold me while I searched- with my new wife with me, I picked up a centurion Lemans RS from goodwill for the ridiculously low price of $40- it needed a tube- and away I went. I rode that all over the city, doing internships, paid work in galleries, stage managing, sound designing, technical direction.. anything I could get and that centurion got me across the city and back over and over again every day as i got from gig to gig.
I finally landed a full time job and worked up from there. but it was the bicycle that made it all possible- the most efficient transportation one could possibly have.
sentimental as it is, i will try my best to rescue any bike, but specifically a centurion- and for someone just starting out- it can be the key. So yeah, ill probably just give it to someone.
