So I'm hoping to trade 710's with this seller, (mines too big) but now that I've brought home a Cannondale Crit with a bent fork I'm seeing them everywhere! Does this bikes fork look ok to you guys?

Thanks!

Bikes: Too many to list

It could be the photos or angle or something - but it does kind of look like it took a header, doesnt it?

Looks bent to me from both sides.

Looks like the steerer tube is bent backwards slightly. If you go take a look, inspect the top tube and down tube just behind the head lugs very carefully for signs of crimping and/or paint damage.

Bikes: Too many, but sometimes not enough.

Yeah, the fork looks to be bent back a bit. It doesn't look too bad though -- it would probably still ride ok, and could probably be bent back without much chance of damaging anything. I wouldn't pay full price for it though. Here in So Cal, I'd expect it to sell for maybe $200-$250 without the fork issues. (It's not too obvious, so it would probably sell for close to full price to an unsuspecting buyer.)

Beyond that, the bike looks ok. I see at least a few small rust spots, and at least the lower headset cup is pretty corroded. The parts are just upper mid range, but all in all, a nice serviceable mid 80s race bike.

Thanks guys! I thought it looked a little off. If I end up looking I'll keep you posted. I think a 54 might end up being too small but I wanted to check it out.
