Help ID Schwinn
Greetings,
Can anyone ID this one? No SN and it's about a 1.5 hour drive. All Dura Ace. Repaint? Brooks saddle?

I can post a few more but they're mainly of the Dura Ace bits (crank, RD). 12-speed but I'm guessing that's a Dura Ace cassette. For $200, it appears reasonable but I'd like to know more about the frame. I'll see if he can dig up a SN.

I see adjusters on the forged rear dropouts, which is a good sign. The tight wheelbase points to one of the models with more racing-oriented geometry. Definitely one of their better frames. Date stamp from the head badge would help to narrow it down more.

Not a Brooks saddle - looks like a Regal to me.

I'm wondering if it's a repaint with that 1986 badge. The fade paint jobs didn't come about on Schwinn's until 1988. The '88 Prelude paint job comes closest but it's not consistent with the paint on the one you're looking at.

Still with full DA, like you said, it's probably worth picking up anyway.
