PLEASE help me idetify this Campy brake set-up:
Howdy!
Please inform me about this brake set. My general questions are:
What model are they? How old are they?
Where do they fit into the big picture as far as Campy parts go? I got them to put on a Bob Jackson fixed/single speed bike I'm building up.
cheers!

Bikes: Crap. The box is not big enough...
these are monoplanar Chorus calipers, and the levers look to have the (kinda rare) century finish applied. Cool brakes, from the late 80's or early 90's. They work pretty well, but I think the campy/shimano wars led to their obsolescence because they are (just a little) porky.
no, wait. I didn't look closely enough. These aren't monoplanar, just later model chorus.

Agree with the Chorus ID. Late 80s-early 90s, one of the last steps before dual pivots.
Campy QRs have been, and still are, on the lever since the end of the S Record era. Those levers let you run the cables in either aero or standard exposed fashion, depending on your taste.
Good brakeset. They'd be at home on a range of upper-end late80s-early90s racers.
You need a "Vintage Cool" option in your poll.

from Campy's highly unsuccessful venture into making brakes and derailleurs for track bikes.
