Here's a link to a PDF of the 1992 catalog. You can probably find more with a little digging around on Google.

Just searched Google for a few minutes and didn't see a MSRP for the '92 Apex, but did find a bicyclebluebook link that claims the MSRP for the '93 Apex was $715, so if that's correct it's probably not far off what the '92 would have been although I'm not really familiar with either bike.

Possibly I should have done that...thanks.

Pretty amazing bike for it's time. They rode so well. I am looking to get another.

No problem! I'm a big fan of older Diamond Backs myself, and happened to be researching them a lot lately anyway since picking up my latest acquisition. It's an '83/'84 Ridge Runner. Kinda hard finding a whole lot of info on these early MTBs it seems.

Yes. They really are fantastic bikes. And I am a BIG fan of 26" wheels. I mean, look at the lugs on that Ridge Runner! Totally underrated.

Bikes: 1995 Trek 520 is the current primary bike.

Thanks for this thread. I picked up a Diamondback Override (not Overdrive) that I was trying to find info on. Too small for me but good to have the info on it.
