As a Canadian, I find some of the comments, in this thread, offensive but I do believe that everyone has a right to his, or her, opinion.

Also being a Canadian I wonder what you find so offensive?

Nothin' offensive there, bring it on you, you...namby-pambys! :)

hmm, then again, we might start building a wall...

Statements such as these, not to mention all of the bashing of China, and Russia, and Poland, etc in many other threads I have been witness to. Honestly, do we have to lump all of the good people into the same sack? And, did it ever occur to anyone that the situation at the University of BC might have been initiated by someone from the USA.

Blame Canada!

That is so Canadian. Using nefarious means to amass pictures of cool bikes for academic use.

Yeah, we're building the wrong wall.

The next quote, however, is not offensive simply because the author was sure to ensure that he was joking around since he, or she, was thoughtful enough to use :)

Not high enough.
I already regret saying anything and sorry to derail a thread that, to me, is already off track, thanks to some of the quotes above.

Let's just leave it there and hope that we all learn a bit about respect.

Moderator note: Let's take this back to strange feelings about having our pictures used without permission and avoid any more politics, please

I certainly didn’t mean any offense. Any comments I make regarding Canada and it’s people are in reference to the abundance (IME) of courtesy, kindness, and thoughtfulness; commodities in dreadfully short supply south of the border.

Here Here, a toast to the perpetually offended. We all need to watch more South Park, they offend everybody! But I love it, funny as hell. Tim

Some folks can't take a joke.

As for weird feelings concerning what I see on the Net...I have them every day.

I saw the pictures of my Bianchi Volpe that had been used in the ad to sell it to me. They appeared in a craigslist ad AFTER I bought the bike. It was some kind of scam. It felt spooky to me.
