As a Canadian, I find some of the comments, in this thread, offensive but I do believe that everyone has a right to his, or her, opinion.

Statements such as these, not to mention all of the bashing of China, and Russia, and Poland, etc in many other threads I have been witness to. Honestly, do we have to lump all of the good people into the same sack? And, did it ever occur to anyone that the situation at the University of BC might have been initiated by someone from the USA.

The next quote, however, is not offensive simply because the author was sure to ensure that he was joking around since he, or she, was thoughtful enough to use :)

I already regret saying anything and sorry to derail a thread that, to me, is already off track, thanks to some of the quotes above.

I certainly didn’t mean any offense. Any comments I make regarding Canada and it’s people are in reference to the abundance (IME) of courtesy, kindness, and thoughtfulness; commodities in dreadfully short supply south of the border.

As for weird feelings concerning what I see on the Net...I have them every day.

I saw the pictures of my Bianchi Volpe that had been used in the ad to sell it to me. They appeared in a craigslist ad AFTER I bought the bike. It was some kind of scam. It felt spooky to me.
