To double kickstand or not?
So today I put a small wooden wine box on the rear rack of my '72 Raleigh Sports and she's become a little tipsy. I was thinking of adding a double kickstand to help stabilize the beast.
Looks like the Pletscher (Esge?)seems to be the "go to" but wanted to see if anyone had any other advice or cautions about my plan.
Thanks,
Camp

Pricey and heavy but it works. I've used kickstands for decades, both the central and rear axle kind, but never a double until I tried touring with four panniers and found the double to make parking it much more stable at rest. Highly recommended.

I have one on our Peugeot tandem. This frame doesn't have much room under the stays, but the stand is very stable. When folded, it tucks out of the way under the left chain stay.
