Were you naughty or nice this year, show us what was left under the tree for you
Hello to All,
I didn't get anything bike related for Christmas and really did not want or need anything related to cycling etc.
I am spending great family time with my wife and our daughter who is home with us from CAL for 5 weeks....we are here in the "Islands" surfing and catching some well-deserved R&R.
So we can all live vicariously show us what "Santa" put under the tree for you this holiday season...bike related or not.
Wishing you all a Great Holiday and a Happy New Year!
Regards, Ben

Nothing classic or vintage, but my wife bought me bike stuff to better enable riding my C&V bike(s): A cycling computer with cadence feature, a tiny pump that attaches jointly to the water-bottle cage bolts, a small underseat bag, and cycling safety/sunglasses.
Hard to believe, but I was venturing out with a spare inner tube and tire irons to change a flat... but no pump.

Got one of those "Airhawk" cordless tire inflator from my brother.
Kinda skeptical on what it can do, but was surprised to see the digital automatic pressure set gauge goes up to over 100 PSI. Seems to work on non bike stuff so far, but the big test would be after I get a Presta adaptor and see if it can get my tubs to at least 115 PSI. Will be quite handy hanging off my Park workstand if it works!
Otherwise, it will go in the car....

Pretty naughty here also. I did get a block of candy that I thought at first was soap. I'm glad I didn't shower with it because it was delicious!

Wife picked up the plethora of hints i'd been dropping
About half way through and love it thus far. I've read previous threads both here and elsewhere pointing out little mistakes or omissions in the book but I think it's important to consider just how special it is to have a book dedicated entirely to the topic of C&V. I'm pretty burnt out reading through books on cycling only to find a handful of pages dedicated to the classics.
I would recommend this book to any and all. Solid content and high quality construction as well.
Happy holidays everyone!

Polo style polyester jersey.
For those 'formal' rides, where a collared jersey is apropo.
Seems well made. On sale. 2 buttoned rear pockets.

Wonderful surprise this year. The 1940's Mauser vernier caliper my dad got from his dad when he started his engineering studies. Still in its original box and waxed paper. From before everything went stainless and digital.

Fixed up my Miyata MTB commuter with a new freewheel, VxGT rear derailleur, and a rack/basket combo! Can't wait to start carrying around some loads! Also, the VxGt is sooooo smooth, way better than what I had on there earlier.

An iBOB member had Santa deliver it early. Also just acquired most of a VGC Deore DX setup to complete the picture!
