1974 Paramount Freewheel Questions

What is the original freewheel on a '74 15-9 and 10-9?

Was it gold tone?

PO/ first owner of my bike had original Campy high flange rear wheel stolen at bike shop. I'd like to get it back to spec. I found a gold Suntour freewheel and have sights set on a Campy Record high flange hub.

Fitment issue?

I believe the original would have been an "Oro" (gold-tone) Regina, with either 14-26T or optional 14-24T gearing on the P10 and P13, or 14-31T gearing on the P15. Here's a page from the '74 Paramount catalog showing details about the P15 and P10 gearing:

The ST Pro Compe FW was the go-to choice for replacement "back when" as it was inexpensive, durable/reliable, had a full cog board to replace individual cogs or build a "custom" FW and was easy to remove w/o damage.

...unlike the Regina Oro, which (if my experience with my 1972 P15 Paramount is any guide) bike shops quickly and easily destroyed by stripping out the slots trying to remove it.

Yep, not the shop's "fault" as a rule.
Simply a miserable design, and overpriced as a bonus.
