My aforementioned black chrome 1987 Schwinn High Sierra.

Black Chrome. Fillet Brazed. Goodness.

It's so difficult to capture that look with this bike.

One of these days, I'd love to get an all chrome, fillet brazed frame... just GLEAMING with the brightness of a thousand suns. If just to burn the retinas of those weak minded fools who would be caught saying "that's too much chrome... I have sand in my hoo-hoo..."

1985 Mongoose ATB I've been working on. This one will probably be traded off soon without me finishing it.

That is an exceptionally cool frame that checks a lot of boxes for a lot of people.

Thanks! I really like it too, but I've been offered a 1984 Centurion Pro Tour in trade for it, and I don't think I can pass that up! I've been wanting one of those for a while now.

Who was it that had the fully chromed, fillet brazed Rossin?

That bottom bracket junction was full-on Terminator 2 AWESOME. I think it was THAT pic that started me on the 'full chrome domination' kick. Or maybe it was someone's Ross ATB.

In either case... someday.
