I can’t believe how much heat they put on those lugs and BB she’ll!

I believe Raleigh used the same method for their bottom brackets.

Bikes: A few BSO's.

It is interesting to see how my frame was built. It is lugged at the seat cluster and tig welded everywhere else. Differential shaped tubes. It would probably dent easily. I am pretty fond of it but would like one that is fully lugged with some wild paint like the second photo.

"Brass" brazed. If the tube ain't glowing, it ain't melting, sticking, or wicking.

Thanks for posting this - high grade bike porn. I esp. enjoyed the historical photos. Did anyone else notice the 90 degree bent cranks at about 30 seconds in (I think these are PMP cranks, right?)?

Bikes: 82 Lotus Unique, 86 Lotus Legend, 88 Basso Loto, 88 Basso PR, 89 Basso PR, 96 Bianchi CDI, 2013 Deda Aegis, 2019 Basso Diamante SV

Just watched that video and, my god! How can anyone not want to buy one of these tomorrow? How can anyone justify anything mass produced? Just that fitting apparatus alone! Cazzo...

Yes, curious about them also....pre Bio-Pace.
And of course it has already been discussed already on the forum...
