Identify Unknown chainring?

Does anyone recognize the maker of this chainring? I have a couple of these and they have no maker mark; they only have a squiggle line and the tooth size. Any ideas?

Avocet. Squiggle is a dead giveaway. Excellent Campy SR replacement.

I thought that was Ofmega? Could Avocet have used Ofmega rings?

Avocet products were made by OFMEGA.

The owner of Palo Alto Bicycles in California was a part owner of OFMEGA and created the Avocet badge.

Launch was ~1976 IIRC.

What he said ^^

I was always told Ofmega brands their own chainrings. If the squiggle is there but no Ofmega branding, it's Avocet. Word-of-mouth isn't always accurate, but ...

You don't see it pointed out often enough, there are some examples where it's called out like this.

Doesn't a tilde squiggle the other way?

MOST Avocet products were made by Ofmega, but the tires (for example) were not, nor the saddles.
And when it's a LOGO it stops being a tilde or a backwards tilde.
...corrective ranting over, back to original programming...

Thanks for this reminder!

Had not intended to suggest all Avocet products produced by OFMEGA. My error.

non-OFMEGA Avocet products also included cycling computers, cycling shoes, cycling shorts, cycling jerseys, cyling gloves, water bottles/cages & truing stands.
