Periodically I select the 3-4 sets of bars I'm most likely to use at some point in the future, then I "store" the rest at the co-op.

I organize many components under this system.

Bikes: 84 John Howard, 85 Raleigh Kodiak, 84 Ross Mt whitney, 74 Masi, 82 Allez

Never been to a Co-op, don't think we have one in San Diego. I would donate some parts if we did but having an inventory keeps the build costs way down. Here is my latest Frankenbike that probably makes my all time top 5 favorite bikes to ride and total cost was $20 excluding tires.
