I am currently looking at a fairly decent looking bike, I was hoping that someone could help me identify the make. Thanks for all your help and information, GShep.

Possibly one of the various models branded as Motiv and sold out of Costco I believe in the mid-to-late 1980's.
I seem to recall a lower-level, Taiwan-sourced Lotus model looking like this one as well.
Different model, but here's one of several different Motiv models that have passed through my hands:

Gashepherd,
the serial number and location is for a frame made by KHS of Taiwan. The Cr-Mo tubing label was also used by KHS.
Edit: Additional information.
The KHS serial number is U90500719. The 905 after the letter U is the date code for frame manufacture: 9 = 1989 and 05=May.
The other numbers, 661.473190x, are for Sears and Roebuck. This bicycle was sold through Sears. The 661 is number used within Sears and Roebuck to designate the product supplier. So 661 may mean KHS, if KHS itself supplied the bicycles to Sears, not a third party. The rest of the number I believe is the Sears catalogue product number.
