Well what up with Lemond frame design

today I pick up this Lemond Reno from a women owner. She said the men’s and women geometry are almost the same in 2005 for this Reno. Does any have any experience with newer Lemond and care to explain. Thank you

Page 19 of this pdf shows the differences. For the 53, it's 15mm less ETT, 1° shallower HTA, and slightly shorter wheelbase.

Non-frame differences include ladies saddle, shorter stem and crankarms.

Bikes: A green one, "Ragleigh," or something.

Looks like a very stiff and fast ride for a smaller rider regardless of whether s/he is running testicles or ovaries.

Not exactly C&V, though, what-what?

For non-stepthrough frames, that matches my understanding of female-specific frame geometry, as well -- for a given seat tube length, a shorter reach to the handlebars (shorter head tube, sometimes the slacker head tube angle noted), and sometimes a slacker seat tube angle. The differences are subtle, but in a fitting game in which every cm counts.

Maybe she did!

It was probably a Trek designer in actuality, then Greg may or may not have signed off on it.
