Bikes: they change so much I'm tired of updating this

Change up the Ironman or leave alone?

I got some extra consumables and thought about changing the looks.
Blackwalls or Veloflex skinwalls?
Black tape and cables or blue?

Or just leave it be?

Either way, that's a nice bike.

I say leave it be. The Hilly Hundred is first weekend in October near Bloomington. I have a 13-28 freewheel if you need it. Hint freaking Hint.

If you go blue, make sure it's the same as the flag, eh? Then I would definitely understand. A blue Brooks Swallow, with matching blue wrap and Challenge bag, would be appropriate. Only cost more than the bike....

Does that cyclo get FM?

I think white looks great and it’s very classy. But gets way to dirty on an everyday rider.

I'd say skinwalls, and white tape and cables.

Looking good Sloar. My Classic has tan walls too. What kind of wrap is that? It looks similar to the original bar wrap.

I really like tan walls on my bikes, but I finally talked my buddy into selling me a Black Lightning. It’s gonna have blackwalls.

It was also advertised as lettered, which I wanted. So, I pulled the lettered "straight" wrap off of one bike to use where I intended the new, and put the new on my nicest white bike.

The wrapping was intense, both hands on the wrap, keeping it tight to the bar, trying to line up the seems, etc. Probably took me 45 minutes.

Worth it, though. Looks and feels good. We'll see how it rides.

Looks perfect to my eyes. IMHO the blue would have been too fussy.
And Concor is the right saddle choice. They just look better. It’s an empirical fact!

Needs aero bars, right?

Love those skin walls on your Classic sloar . Black walls look good but on a Classic 86' IM , not so much IMO .

No its a shimano 600 aero seatpost. I'm looking for one though. There's some on the eebay but they don't fit my budget.
