POZZI frame

Does anyone have any information please, on an Italian POZZI frame, manufactured in the [approximate] 1950's - 1970's era, by C Pozzi in Montesiro or Casatenovo, northern Italy, north of Milan.
thank you

Just been told that he was an artisan frame builder from Montesiro and nothing to do with the Swiss frame builder also called Pozzi.

Do you have any pictures of this bike that you could share?

Aside from the current day shop of Alessandro Pozzi in Monguzzo, the only other Italian shop I know of was that of Otello Pozzi, based in Casalecchio di Reno near Bologna. The head badges showed the first initial and the last name (O. Pozzi):

Bikes: Tommasini SL, Ciöcc SL, Somec MS, Rossin Ghibli, many many more

Pozzi was also Claudio Corti's sponsor when he was in the World Champion jersey. Can't recall what they made or did but story was that they were a big supporter back in the day and that this bike was on display in their entry for many years. Frame was a Ciöcc. Seems to be a fairly common name in northern Italy. Just thought it was interesting...

rhanks for all the info. I have bought the frame but not received it. The decal on the down-tube is almost identical to that of the 1950's U. de Rosa ! Just the lettering is different of course but the "square" type-face is the same, so was there any tie-up with de Rosa or did the decals come from the same source - odd because Rossin got into big trouble over similar decal design. All rather strange ! Pozzi in Montesiro is not far from de Rosa in Milan.
