I have this Lezyne light on my vintage bike and the chrome version doesn't look too out-of-place on vintage aluminum bars...

Italvega Gran Rally or close to it. On second thought gold would go with existing gold edged headbadge. What is the BB serial number again? 71-73 used gold lettering, I think 74 transitioned to black logos and letter on light colors.
Cyclomondo.net Australia so order quick to arrive in time
Italvega in Gold but black also available, direct or via eBay

At this point I'm 80% certain I'll be doing the Piedras Blancas route. I had big plans for lots of riding to be ready for the 75 mile route, but a couple of business trips are going to have me away from the bike for about three weeks at the beginning of March, so reality is starting to set in.
On the plus side, the 35 mile route makes it more practical for me to ride the Gios.

Interesting project. I'm setting up a bike for L'Eroica Gaiole this year. I'm missing part of one foot, so mastering the pedal clips presents an interesting challenge for me. I have the local shoemaker modifying a shoe and I'm looking into modifying one of the pedal cages as well. Please keep us posted on your progress.

If there is a lot of rain, 23s or 25s or 20whatevers. I'm gonna lower my seat, loosen my straps and keep the camera ready.

Catching up on Eroica 2019 registrations. I'm collating separate CR and BF attendee Google spreadsheets (and yes, there will be some overlap) to gauge attendance and interest for this year's event. I haven't had nearly as much time to seek out and invite folks this year but I hope everyone has encouraged someone they know or met to attend and ride. Hopefully, we'll exceed the 1100 Classic Eroica riders and the ~100 NOVA Eroica riders of 2018. The change to Cambria will be interesting for sure as will the new routes.
For the purposes of the spreadsheet please list the following info. You can copy, fill in and paste the info below to your reply if that makes it easier. If you wish to send it to me privately, please send to mech986 at Yahoo dot com. All information will remain confidential. If you wish to be contactable from other members who don't already have your info, let me know. I will furnish links to anyone in the group who would like to see the spreadsheet. I'll try to publish an abridged version without contact info here to advise who is on the list although editing is difficult.
1. First name, Last name, CR or BF alternate name, email address (optional), phone number (optional), City, State
2. Route (35 Piedras Blancas (PB), 75 Santa Lucia (SL), 82 La Villa Dello Scalatore (LVDS), 110 Heroic (H) ). New info request this year - F/R gearing (Ex. 52/42/26 - 14-32 5 speed), Tires and sizes (ex. - Compass Bon Jon Pass EL 700Cx35), How good a climber are you - (Exc, Good, Fair, Poor, Flats only!)
3. Primary Riding Bike - year, Make, Model. Color (optional). Additional Bikes for Display (DIS) or Concours (CC).
4. Any additional activities - Swap vendor, Display, concours, judging, pre-race rides, Friday BBQ or Saturday Eroica Cena dinner, etc. or where you are staying.
Thanks for all your input and hope to see everyone who is attending. I hope everyone has already sorted out their ride and dinner reservations on the new myeroica.cc site.
I think it will be a lot of fun, suffering, and a true challenge. Especially if the weather is less than ideal! Only 4 weeks left to prepare!!
Bart

I just heard that the Encino Velodrome Swap Meet got rescheduled to Apr 6, from the rained out March date. Bummer, Eroica weekend. I always find useful stuff in Encino.

I Guess I'll go first.
It would be good if riders could include a bike picture too, I think.

Rather not give phone no.
Coastal 35 mile route
1964 Legnano Roma, 52/42 Campy crank, 6 speed 28t freewheel. I'm a fair climber, (made it up Gibralter Road last December, but not with these gears). Tires are Panaracer Pasela 28 clinchers.
Will attend the swap meet, undecided about entering the Concours, or dinner plans.
We're staying on Moonstone Drive at the Sea Otter.
I rode most of the coastal route at Thanksgiving (as I understood it then) on my Raleigh Super Course, with a triple crank and a 34t Megarange rear. I think the Legnano will handle Highway 1 just fine, and I'm just not in shape for the hillier other routes.
Hope to see everyone there,
Thanks "Mech" for getting everyone on the same page. I missed the Pasadena Vintage last month with the iffy rain, hope its better for Cambria!
New wheelbuild, new Paselas, ready to roll. Hope the rider is! Yeah, I know I still need to re-install the evil toe clips. Probably do new bar tape too.

2. Route 110 Heroic (H) ), 52/39- 11-30 7 speed), gravel kings 700Cx28 (if i can get the damn things on!), How good a climber are you - (i do well on my carbon bike with cleats and compact 50/35--12/29, but i am scared with the heavier bike, toe clips and the gearing.)
I may throw a late 1990s Centaur triple on there ( i am definitely bringing it along in case!)
3. Primary Riding Bike - year, Make, Model. Color Late 80's Ciocc, model unknown, blue white fade

Hugh Colvin, Charlottesville, VA, many here have my contact info, but drop me a PM if you want it.
82 mile route
I will be on my Moser with 6 speed Super Record 13-26 back, 46-34 VO cheater crank. I’m a good climber but not in long distance shape right now, so using that for insurance in the late day climbs.
I can’t remember if I signed up for the dinner; need to get my Eroica page issue sorted out. I will be in the Palazzo with the BF crowd, getting into town on Friday.

Yes, but I think I'm setting it up separately this year, I'm not aware that Gugie set up a different one for 2019.

I will say i was more comfortable sharing the email and phone through the google groups process, rather than posting on a public forum.

Sorry for the confusion friends. Please PM any confidential info to me directly if you don't want it out here in public or only put it into the google spreadsheet link I send to you, hopefully soon. Edit your info out in your post if you prefer.

My IPad shows 5 days of rain predicted for the last week of March. AND...winds 13-15mph each day!

Classtime, are you coming with the Schwinn Circuit and riding the Heroic? That's the only route that hits Cass Winery this year.
