Oh, Dear Lord! Almost everything about that bike is deliciously awful; right down to the random zip ties. Perhaps the most aesthetically challenged bike I've ever seen in these pages -- I wish it were mine!

There were 3 carbon Y bikes in the trek line up, Y11, Y22 and Y33, same monocoque, different finishing kit. The shop race team rode full XTR versions for a while with AMP forks.

It would be fun to try a Softride - have always wondered about them. For $50 it might be worth it just for the parts.

The speedplays are worth that alone I would think?

The drywall cut and the location make me wonder if this is someone who got flooded by Florence and is trying to clear out old stuff.

How would one attach a Softride to a monocoque Y-frame? I though Softrides required dedicated braze-on fittings, and rather substantial ones at that.

Pretty sure I know who the owner is. I've raced her. She may have sold it by now. I see the flood cut, too., but could just be a typical water loss. Studs look too good for salt water.

Eastern NC had a lot of soft rides at one time; now it's a Cervelo flea market.

Crank looks like US made Precision Tooling, sold by Grafton and or Topline. Some good, some bad and prone to fracture.

Late version are not fully drilled through for pedal axles, the arms also have a taper fluting. 110 bcd. Ti hardware weigh sub 530 gm with rings. Beauty.

Grafton cranks. A friend of mine had them until they bent. I think he weighed about 150 pounds.

Grafton and Topline were virtually indistinguishable, IIRC.
