1976 Flandria Freddy Maertens

I have a 1976 Freddy Maertens edition biuke that im trying to restore. i have all the original parts. But i cannot find the serial number anywhere. the only number on the bike is a "73" on the very top of the seat tube. there is definitely no evidence of a serial number being ground out.
Does anyone have any information on this line of bike? id be happy to give more information if needed.

That "73" you note prolly refers to the seat tube angle. Pics are a must for identification purposes. Once you post a total of 10 times you will be able to post pics.

A lot of bikes of this vintage do not have serials. The factories were cranking them out too fast to bother.

Freddy rode Gios. A Gios with a Freddy paint scheme would be extremely interesting. A Flandria by Flandria somewhat less so. Could still be something good. A pic would tell us which.
