Niagara Cycle is back
Niagara Cycle - Out of Business ??
https://www.niagaracycle.com successful transitioned to https://www.the-bikeshop.com.
The lack of notification or forwarding of web address is puzzling (blame IT contractor?).
Same location, same inventory new web address.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm hoping this "transition" is a positive one, though since everything seems to be "out of stock" my optimism is a bit guarded.

Ahhhh, Niagara....the memories.
Good prices, nothing ever in stock, average shipping time of 10 weeks. How'd did we ever survive with them gone??
LOL, there I did it. The first in complaining about slow shipping!

Has anyone found an item on the new web site that shows to be in stock? What a weird business.

Went there today to see for myself as I am again in need of cheap 27 inch tires.
If the new store was in the same location as the old (and I think it was) it looks like it's all over. Building appeared stripped of assets. There was a paper sign in the door related to a a Civil Court order (judgement?) dated 12/10/18 posted by the Sheriff and cautioning anyone who entered without authority would be arrested.
Forgot my cellphone or would have photo'd.

Well, it would not be unusual for the bricks and mortar retail operation to go dark, after all I am sure there is no shortage of big boxes to suck up all the low end sales in Buffalo. The owners could be shifting to a web only model.
The well regarded bike store in Ypsi does 70% of its component sales, in particular MTB upgrade parts over the web, but also does a brisk business with popular MTBs and hybrids.

This new place is not the same ans Niagara Cycle. The bought the assets from NC when they went bankrupt. That is why they are currently using NC's website to get set up. The shop did not move into NC'c old location they moved to where the Niagara Falls Airport is, its about 3-4 miles away from the old NC location.

Oddjob, what Ypsilanti store are you referring to? The only one I am aware of ... are they the buyers of Niagara’s assets?
