How can I fix this saddle?

I have a Selle San Marco ‘Professional’ saddle with its leather cracking. Is ther way to save this? I like this saddle. It’s like the Rolls but with out any fancy trimmings(to save weight? couldn’t really find anything about this saddle). Do any of you know anything about this saddle?

Bikes: too many sparkly Italians, some sweet Americans and a couple interesting Japanese

Those are nice saddles and rhm does nice work and can help. Absent that get some leather dressing containing neats foot oil or lanolin, follow directions, now before it gets worse and keep it from drying out.

For the small tears on the corners of the saddle, I find that a dab of super glue usually works to hold it together. I’m a fan of Obenauf leather oil for reconditioning a tired saddle.

I'm afraid I can't help much with this type of saddle. I agree that some leather conditioner is your best bet. If there is damage that needs glue, use a flexible glue (barge cement is good) and do it before applying leather conditioner since glue won't stick well after you put conditioner on the leather.

Bikes: old ones

...I have repaired similar aging damage with sanding the rough spots smooth, then waxing the whole leather covering with Snoseal or another beeswax leather dressing. You lose the polished finished surface when you sand it, but the wax restores it to a rideable status. Obviously this won't work with the torn spots.

Thank you all for great tips!
Should have searched a bit deeper but I am glad I asked.
I am thinking taking cleaning - glueing - sanding - oiling/waxing route, before I go full-restoration mode. I kindda like that 'San Marco Professional' print on the saddle.

Thank you again!

Many Happy and Safe Miles to You.
