Please help identify chassis number
Chassic embossed serial number is ISR8080906 or 1SR8080906, not very clear with the first digit.
The bike was bought new in January 2000. It comes with a "Jamis" head-badge but Jamis said not their bike.
I now have only the serial number to depend on for clue as to the model, type, manufacturer.
Attached herewith is the pedal-hub embossed serial number. Oops...not allowed until 10posts.

Sorry, I don't recognize the alpha prefix but the format is typical of Taiwanese manufacturers. It would appear to represent August of a year ending in 8. Given that the bicycle was bought new in January 2000, it probably represents August 1998, which would make it a 1999 model. About all I can tell from the photos is that it is a TIG welded, aluminum frame. Based on the other BB shell stamps, I assume it's an ATB/MTB style frame. Additional pictures may help.
