What model Raleigh is this?

I bought this frame off Craigslist and was wondering what model Raleigh it is. Appears to be from around 1980 but not sure. Old decals must have worn off.

Kind of looks like a Pro. The seat stay ends don't look as long as in the pictures though. Check the serial number.

It’s clearly a great frame! Can you give us a serial number?

The serial number indicates it was manufactured in mid 1982 by a Japanese manufacturer believe to be H. Tano, who is best known for being the prime contract manufacturer for the 1980s' Centurions. The frame appears to be one of the Competition models that was being liquidated through Michael's Cyclery during late 1982 and 1983, as part of the licensing deal between Ti-Raleigh and Huffy and that led to the establishment of Raleigh USA for the 1983 model year. Basically, Huffy did not want to be responsible for disposing of Ti-Raleigh inventory.

Would that be the case with any Raleigh headbadge with "///////////////" instead of " Nottingham" or "Raleigh Cycle Company of America"? I saw Super Course recently with such a badge....

No, they could be other than Tano 531DB frames. Your best indicator to determine the source and year of frames with the ///////// head badge, is the serial number format.
