Frejus TDF frame
Hi Guys,
just wanted your thoughts on this frame and if it would be a good one to invest in.
Was going to go go look at it if it is a decent frame.
Thanks in advance.

This bike is beautiful. Others will come along who know more about Frejus bikes than I do, but this is a quality bike. The paint job is in good shape and the bike has nice chrome and forged drop outs so it is a quality frame.

Thread title is, ahem, a Frejusian slip. I'll be here all week.

The decal I'm talking about is the one at the top of the seat tube. Bozzi purchased the brand from the original owner and the Bozzi manufactured frames are considered less desirable. However, more of a concern are the stamped dropouts. These generally indicate an entry level model with a hi-tensile steel frame. Typically, people "invest" in better quality frames and to this end, I'd be looking for something with forged dropouts having an integral derailleur hanger. That's not a integral derailleur in the picture but a black claw adapter bolted to the dropout. It's quite deceptive. It's probably quite nice riding with a very relaxed geometry but heavy.

Fully agree with T-Mar's analysis.
But since my interest is in pretty bikes that ride nicely, I'd probably buy this immediately if it were my size.

Looks like I'm wrong on the rear drop out but it's still a neat old frame worth building up. Plus the paint job is is in nice shape which is a plus.
