I'm accumulating framesets (mostly vintage road framesets). Have 10-ish. Any tricks/tips on how to store them efficiently? I have hooks for my complete bikes, but that doesn't work for framesets.

I currently have two stored in a bike box.

I store mine on hooks, but I only have two frames currently.

I try to keep them out of sight from my wife

She seems to think they count toward N-1.

Pre existing kids school-type coat hooks, made great drying rack. Relative humidity crazy low in here, could feel skin on hands becoming paper- like. There's another layer of 4 or 5 frames set lengthwise back to front, raised off the floor on a wood table top. (You can just see a stteering tube and top of a frame- bottom left of photo.) Next frame rear triangle at that end, alternating, to minimize volume.

I store mine on their wheels. 😉

Have rows of bike hooks along the beams in garage, so hang bikes, wheels, etc.

I'm currently storing my spare frames with other people. AKA selling them off.

My preference is also in my wallet as $20 bills when they're sold.

I pick up a threaded pipe base and 30inch threaded pipe and some foam pipe insulation at Home Depot.
I can safely hang 4 frames (no more).
Make double sure that you have screwed the pipe base into a stud.

Some good ideas on here. I like the pipe with foam insulation. Thanks, everyone.

I can hang six frames on the arms. Not sure they make it any longer, but you can likely find one used or duplicate.
