Help I.D. tubing...
Does anyone know what tubing this is, and anything about it? Screenshot from a bicycle for sale. All i can make out is "Tre(z?) Or (T?). Can't find anything on the web. Thank You.

"Tre" is three, meaning only the main three tubes are that particular Columbus tubing. A better shot of the drive side of the whole bike could help.

+1, but it also says (tubi) speciali rinforzati, so it's Columbus SL/SP main tubes.

Thanks, Surfer and Tmar, never dawned on me that you could tell SL/SP from the small print. I could only recognize it from the big bold "SL," etc. On certain stickers. Always thought the small print was a redundant: "our tubes are great!" In Italian, on every sticker. Lol. Like "Champion du monde." I will try and post more pics.

Columbus TreTubi, they produced a number of different tubing sets using that description.
This sticker was used on frames that had SL or SP main tubes depending on size. I think that 60cm was the dividing line.
My 1981 Champione Del Mondo is made of TreTubi. I found this info in the 1982 Bianchi catalog that says the forks and rear stays are made of Aelle tubing but nothing about the main tubes. The weight and ride lead me to believe that the whole frame may be made with SL because it's a Reparto Corse build???
Columbus also produced an Aelle TreTubi set. The main tubes were probably straight gauge or butted Aelle tubing. Who knows what the forks and stays were made of??? Pipa del gaz???

Here is side view. Bike is for sale on Rochester, NY CL, (photo credits to seller, etc., Etc.). RIGGIO'S were made by Viner, contracted by bike shop in Clarence, NY, i believe. Got info. From old B.F. threads. There is a B.F. member, *Riggio, who is a descendant of original bike shop owner and expeessed interest in any Riggio's for sale (circa 2017). I will put the ad on "Looking for one of these?" Seller may be a B.F member, usually has some decent bikes for sale. "Pipa del gaz" LMAO!

Looks like a nice bike, but I'd wonder why he's using a rear derailleur clamp instead of the on-frame hanger.

Hey, I bought this bike! When I picked it up it spun rough but not too bad (I thought).
The rear derailleur was in fact bent. Once it was back in place found out the on-frame hanger needed to be retapped. Ordered a kit from amazon, watched a few vids and got it on. Still wasn't spinning right - crank was too close to the frame. Problem was a bottom bracket with too short of a spindle. Someone had tried to put a large spacer to correct it. Didn't work. Ordered a new bottom bracket. Wrong size. Ordered another and while taking on/off the previous one I over-torqued it and had to bring it to the LBS for help.
Ordered and installed a new chain.
Wheels are original but required another trip to the LBS to be trued. Rear needed a lot of help. Ordered new tires, tubes and rimtape.
Ordered handlebar tape, brake hoods, cables and housing. Realized one the brakes was missing a part of the assembly and bought a similar one off ebay just for that small piece.
Ordered a seat post, bolt and saddle.
Got everything together and even though I knew one the middle cogs was missing a tooth I didn't think it'd be a big deal. Wrong. It made all the shifts rough and eventually broke off another tooth. Ordered a new freewheel.
Finally sorted, I was able to commute to work for over a month and it rode great. Previously, I've only had aluminum and the ride of steel was a welcome change.
After all that, I realized the bike was a bit too small. Measures 56 from middle of crank to top of tube. I'm a bit over 6'. I've since picked up a miami vice Centurion which is now my main ride.

BTW, I usually welcome people to the forum at their first post, but after ten years I thought that would be a bit silly.
