Raleigh Box Lining

Considering full restoration of my 1952 Raleigh Roadster's fenders/mudguards, I wonder: Does somebody have/know about available advice regarding the lining patterns used and their extent?
On the original paint, lines are faded or worn off almost completely. Just slight differences in gloss (or rather lack thereof) occasionally indicate that there was a line, way back. According to Raleigh's catalogs, there ought to be red and gold box lining ...

Best thanks in advance to those willing to share their know-how.
