Herons are taking flight, cool! Look forward to seeing it.

I threw together a test build, nothing is properly placed but it’s shaping up to be very much of what I hoped for this frame. As I said, most everything was already in place on my International, having been curated over the course of a few seasons. Arguably it’s a Frankenbuild, almost nothing matches and its a mix of new and vintage components but I think it hangs together well.

RD & brifters: Microshift R10
FD: Tiagra
Crankset: Holdsworth “Retro” compact double 48/34
Cassette: Microshift 11-speed 11-32
BB: Shimano Cartridge
Pedals: Shimano 520
Rear hub: Sun XCD High-flange
Front hub: First series Shimano 600 high-flange
Rims: Mavic Module 3 Argent D
Tires: Compass Bon Jon Pass lightweight casing
Brakes: Mafac Racer
Headset: Campy Record
Stem: ENE Gran Compe
Bars: Nitto Olympiade
Seatpost: SR Fluted
Saddle: Brooks Cambium C17
Decaleur: Velo Orange
Rack: Nitto M18
Fenders: Velo Orange Fluted (Planet Bike Cascadias in the photo, VOs are on their way)

I still have a bit of frame alignment work, I want to double check the headset and BB installs and then I want to clean and polish all the components before proper installation and cabling.

If anyone has a lead on a decent Raleigh Centennial headbadge, I’d appreciate knowing about it. I have a few other ideas, but I might want to go original there.
