But...are those little Torx bolts what Litespeed used to attach their headbadges? Looks like it could be a re-attachment to somebody like me who doesn't know

Pretty sure those torx-head attachments are original. I recall seeing them on that style Litespeed headbadge in the first few years of this century.

i remember reading Litespeed catalogs as they described why their various shaped tubing produced a superior racing frame. Several models only offered for 1 or 2 years. They experimented a lot in the 90’s.

Didn’t Armstrong ride a rebadged Litespeed time trial bike. The aero shaped downtube was massive, not unlike some CF designs later.

The reborn company did the same with some models.
