Ultimate light vintage saddle?

Here we have the ultimate light weight vintage saddle, the "Sans Buttocks Dolomite"designed to be used with the "Gastro-dimodo" bike short butt clips, once attached you are 'locked In". Note the infinite prostate clearance provide for a man's necessities.
While a break through design way way way ahead of its time, given the "locked in" function of the "Gastro-dimodo" butt clips climbing out of the saddle resulted in frequent exposure "au naturale" which sanctioning bodies frowned upon.

Enjoy this moment of history..passing in the wind.

Take the handlebars off too and sell the bike: "Good for failed small business owner whose lost his 'buttocks' and don't know which way to turn."

10 speed gearshift. Hooded caliper brakes. Racing handlebars.

1960 Schwinn Continental Sports

Speedy and amazingly smooth. 10 speed derailleur gear, high pressure 27" by 1 1/4 inch road racing tires. Radiant red, blue, green, black, or coppertone.
  • Men's model only. Available in 19, 21, 23 inch frames ..... $86.95
See the full 1960 Schwinn catalog

[Nearly 87 dollars in 1960 was a small fortune, especially with "road racing tires" on a "Speedy" bike that's also "amazingly smooth", hmm crossover ad to bring in the Scotch/Bourbon drinkers?]

15 Speed gears! Sports styling! Racing equipment!

1962 Schwinn Continental

Three front chainwheels, powerful climbing gears...five rear cogs 38 to 100 gear.
Colors: radiant red blue, green or coppertone.
  • 27" size, 21" Frame, 601 ..... $107.00
  • 27" size, 23" Frame, 603 ..... $107.00
Though this bike appears to be the 1962 at a whopping price jump of 20 bucks. Or as I would have viewed this price increase at the age of 10, nearly a years supply of corner market candy.

Most 40 pound bikes ride smooth, once you get them going.
