Show me your NON-drop bar tourers

So my Trek 750 is at the powder coater, waiting in line and I have some time to work out what I want her to be. Big supple tires and fenders are a given; I'm thinking light tourer or maybe just long road rides. I'm not a hardcore cyclist; in fact, I have a soft, marshmallowy center. Anyway, I'm still debating whether to go shallow rando drops or something else? I hope some of you can show me your something else.

Here's the bike in question. Don't let the pic fool you; up close the paint was seriously thrashed, including a long scrape and someone's initials deeply scratched into the top tube. The husbeast sanded it down and we were reassured to see that it didn't go into the metal.

Such a pretty paint job.

Bikes: Yes, please.

Not mine, but mrs non-fixie's:

Butterfly bars were her favorites for many years. Lots of hand positions, but more upright than drops.

These days she's more into classic sports bars:

You may want to check out the touring forum as well. Lots of great pics of touring bikes over there.

Bikes: Waterford Paramount Touring, Raleigh Sports 3-speeds in M23 & L23, Schwinn Cimarron oddball build, Marin Palisades Trail dropbar conversion, Nishiki Cresta GT, Jeunet mixte

I call this a city build but it looks as tour-y as those other bikes do.

Another Trek, early 510 this time.

Heres my Koga Miyata City Liner with Velo Orange Crazy Bars. I'm moving the whole cockpit over to a 1989 Cannondale T700.

This could be a mustache handle-barred tourer, but instead is an urban day-tripping grocery getter.

I've been converting drop bar bikes to upright cruisers since around 1996. It's always difficult to order handlebars online because the descriptions are usually pretty vague. The handlebar descriptioin should include 3 things. Rise, sweep, & width. The bars pictured on a couple of the bikes above were made by Dimension. Others were Origin 8. And, I've used Wald handlebars too. Here's a pile of drop bars that have been pulled off. All of these were donated to the bicycle co-op.

I have several currently...

My Jamis Aurora with Denham bars similar to Velo Orange and bwilli88's setup. I am not a fan of how to run the cables, but so far a fan of the wide handle positions.

Another Trek I was going to sell similar to the OP.

Cheap wide swept bar I found. Nice angle for wrists comfort.

Nice! What handle bars are those? The red bar tape ones.
