Frame Identification - Is this a Viner?
Hi all,
I recently acquired a rebuilt Viner and was hoping to identify the model or make of it. Reading various forums, I realised the true Viner frames are typically pantographed with stars or crosses but nothing seem to prove this. Is there anyone that can provide any advice on what this frame might be and where i could find proof that this is a true Viner frame?
Will post photos once i figure out how to.
Cheers

Welcome to the forums. I have no reason to believe this is not a true Viner. The Columbus Cromor decal indicates circa 1987-1988. Cromor was a mid-range tubeset and Italian mid-range models of this era often did not use pantographs, to cut costs. The Columbus dropouts, lug set and combination of frame features match other Viner Cromor models of the era that I've seen. Here's one that's very close. It's probably only a year different than yours.https://www.velosaloon.com/products/...olumbus-cromor
