I've had this bike about 10 years and am on the home stretch getting it on the road again.
The front derailer is an issue. It doesn't sit inline enough, so the chain rubs in the 28t cog on the cassette. I angled it in to improve it a bit but that messes up other things. It also doesn't sit low enough.
What should I do here? Space out the driveside bb? It's a new italian hollowtech. File the braze on tab? There isn't much meat on it to file. I'm a bit hesitant to do that.
Any advice would be appreciated.

also yeah I know the fork looks terrible i'm going to do something about it

Originally the bike had 3x8 campag mirage on it. And pursuit+aerobars. I bought it off a divorcee selling his ducati as well for $700nz about 10 years ago. I used to ride it a lot. Did a couple races on it. Was my first nice road bike. The rear Zonda wheel eventually cracked at the hub flange. The ergos started slipping. The chrome fork bent when I crashed it into a car that pulled across a bike lane. The mirage single pivot brakes were really only good for slowing down.
It's been through a couple of other setups since then.
I have the front Zonda to put back on it if i can find some new cones for it. And maybe I can re-bend the chrome fork as it's not so bad, just the blades are uneven.
