40 yo original Huffy paper work

I'm at my GF's in Queens cleaning out parents basement. She unearthed a really detailed manual of how to assemble a Huffy bike she must have had. Date on the back of the manual says 10/80, so ironically she's found it exactly 40 years after it got "filed away" down there.

PM me if any of you CV guys have any interest in this. I hate to throw it away. I'll mail complementary if someone is interested.

Thanks.

I only needed one tool to work on my first Huffy. Vice Grips.

Bike still around?

I'll get in line for it but lets see if somebody has a genuine need for it.

I'll let you CV guys figure out who gets the manual.

The actual bike went out to the trash about 2 years ago. The tires were so dry rotted and fossilized I couldn't believe it. It was before the current big big crush and I just didn't think there would be any interest or value in an old Huffy.

I did resurrect what I though was her first childhood bike I've posted here and will have to post again. I looks somewhat Schwinn Stingray like, but it was actually a yellow Royale Enfield which apparently was/is quite rare. I couldn't find a pic of it anywhere on the internet. I think it was someone here who posted back a page from the manufacturer catalog that remains the only picture or reference I've ever seen of it.

BUT... the thing I just got really excited about was that the yellow Royal Enfield was actually her second bike. I found a really old kids bike covered with dust and spider webs in the corner. They tell me her Grandmother shipped it here to her from Germany. Very interested to see the brand and what the story is on it. I'm no CV guy, but kinda like her other childhood bike, I'll probably getting this on cleaned up.

To be continued....

Merziac...thanks for pause to see if real Huffy-Hound chimed in, but I need to keep this moving. PM addy and I will mail to you. Thanks.

Childhood bike I refereced that was sent to my girlfriend from her grandmother in Germany in roughly 1973 was a "Baroni" made in Germany. Check out them "spokes."

You'd think wheel alignment when tightening the stem in step 6 would be more intuitive.
