Humber, possibly a Cob, appears to be post war through 1950s.

Seat post is not stuck. No date code on 3 speed hub. Funky forks and "running man" chainring. Chain guard has been removed. Front 32 spoke, rear 40.

Ask about it here: For the love of English 3 speeds...
or ask a mod to move this thread there. They will tell you every thing you could possibly ask. Kind of like Schwinns, there were bazillions of British 3 speeds made.

Check the front dynohub for a date code.

Cool looking fork. Those rod brakes are cool too, Kool Stop makes replacement blocks for them.

I think that's Dr Zoidberg on the chainring

I am going to sound a bit pedantic but the chainring is a maypole not a running man; the running man is closer to the Isle of Man logo of 3 legs in a circle... (FYI I have a 49 Humber with caliper brakes so same general timeframe but different model).
