Dr. Deltron

Anyone know where he is or what he's doing?

No idea, he went silent years back but I met up once and killed some time on the road near Watsonville, shooting the breeze about Merlin (Bob Jackson by then) bikes. He had one and I once did but sold it. (his was much nicer than mine), As I recall (maybe accurate, maybe not) he did or was still doing the occasional paint work for Rock Lobster in Santa Cruz (Paul Sadoff) so maybe one of our Santa Cruz members has some insight into his whereabouts

From: Point Reyes Station, California

Bikes: Indeed!

I don't think he's done any painting for Rock Lobster in several years.
I'll ask Paul when I talk with him next week and relay anything I find out.

My girl has a Mercian that he painted.
It was in a warehouse with a bunch of his other projects.
After a few months of no contact, someone found his ex-wife or ex-girlfriend, and she had keys to the place.
The frame ended up being built and then entered a garage while still on top of the car.
I have come across the frame. Custom paint by the Doctor....quandary is obvious.

From: An Island on the Coast of GA!

Bikes: Snazzy* Schwinns, Classy Cannondales & a Super Pro Aero Lotus (* Ed.)

Dr. Deltron is a true genius bike artist on the first order who comes with much unpredictability. Great patience is needed when working with him.

I have a mobile number from way back--- but I don't know if it is current. If you're interested in trying to call him, feel free to PM me.
