1938 CCM Road Racer - inherited from original owner (family) who had the rear wheel replaced in the 70s with a coaster brake hub (Perry B100) which is awful - luckily I also have the correct Phillips centre pull brake on there!

79 Panasonic Track. It was drilled for brakes from the factory. The selling point was a bike for new racers, they could ride this bike to the track take off the brakes, race, put the brakes back on and ride home. It also came with a chain guard from the factory but I didn't get that part. This one has hand built 27" wheels.

Just getting into my first time updating some minor components on the 1951 New Hudson Silver Arrow, so this may be the last time I post it with this "as found" configuration... Freewheel/fixed Bayliss-Wiley rear hub, essentially as it was straight from the factory except the bars and stem had been changed by the first owner, which is what I'm working to rectify.

Here is my 1971 Raleigh Pro Track which I built up from frameset and raced in summer 2014.




And here is my 1975 Viscount street fixie conversion. I've played bike polo on it, and if I do again, I think I'll lower the gearing and go to freewheel. Bike polo is a truckload of fun!

My Panasonic NJS track bike. We have a velodrome about 90 minutes away, but have not had a chance to get there. I think I will remove the velocity stickers. I’d really like to swap in some silver rims.

I got this track frame on eBay. It had letters on it that indicated it was a Witcomb:



I eventually figured out that it was a Holdsworth-made Claud Butler Olympic Sprint from 1964; so I gad it repainted (thanks, again, @sloar!) and put the right graphics on it:



Uncertain that that was quite the right size for me, I got this JRJ track frame, coincidentally also from 1964 and built it up with somewhat more modern parts:


And I set up this old Bottecchia as a fixed gear randonneuring bike:

Though that one is a little different now.

Yes, it is quite steep. Just realized how blurry the first pic is. I have a Lemond Fillmore that I ride around town. It has much more relaxed geometry.

~1992 Dennis Bushnell track bike. 62cm CTT. Fillet-brazed steel construction. No brake caliper accommodations. Rode well on the Marymoor velodrome, which is a really bumpy track, especially on the racing line.

My '88 Paramount has always been ridden set up fixed.
Assembled from motley selection of spare parts and a cheap wheelset, it's a bit of a mutt but it sure rides nice and has taken me on many adventures.

I've had my Grand Jubile set up fixed gear for the last year. I've been really loving having a fixed gear around but I'm always at least casually looking for a frame with track dropouts in my size. Kind of hard to find them in 62cm or larger.

2002 Derek Land-built Mercian Vincitore custom road fixed gear designed for long rides. Track ends are a pain for road fixed riding with fenders and I think their usefulness away from velodromes is overrated. Otherwise, a lovely bike to ride and my all-time favorite.




My ‘73 Raleigh Competition Mk II running 42/44T chainrings and a Surly 17/19T Dingle cog for 70-in fixed pavement and 60-in fixed gravel. Someday I’ll splurge on a 20/22T Dos Eno freewheel for the other side of the hub and have 59 and 51 inch gears for ambling and mild singletrack.



My ‘71 Gitane TdF that was meant to be a vacation beater but got the bulk of my mileage for several years - Kogswell hubs laced to MA3s, Stronglight 93s on a Phil BB, but above all Gitane’s special sauce geometry with a slightly steeper head and low-trail end with metric-gauge 531. Wish it took bigger tires! I love this bike almost as much as the Mercian.
