Trek 910 650b build

If you were filling the identification thread going earlier, here's the latest update:




Temporary Mafac Raids before it gets put to the torch. 38 in the back and 42 up front. Not sure which size it'll fit all be, but chainstays need crimped either way (38s barely sneak by).

This bike is for my wife who is quite tall and likes an upright stance. I may have to raise the saddle some, but the stuff is at its max height. While I'm installing a taller stem, maybe I'll put some priest bars on it?

while I doubt she'll ever give up friction shifting, maybe with time she'll be interested in the original drop bars. I'm saving all the original components just in case, even though I'd live to recoup some cost with the 1st Gen Dura Ace it came with.

Nice build. I used these bars for a build for my wife (she does not like drops) and got the thumbs up...

Yeah there's a shop in Portland with Jitensha bars for $50. There's a lot more options for this style than I knew about before ai started looking.
